AstraFactory
A cloud-oriented media preparation and packaging layer for converting heterogeneous source assets into controlled, delivery-ready packages for broadcast, FAST, OTT and VOD workflows.
Product overview
AstraFactory is positioned at the beginning of the AYA media lifecycle. It is designed to receive source masters, normalize technical characteristics, create mezzanine and distribution derivatives, generate audio/video renditions, package adaptive streaming outputs and hand a governed asset package to QC, MAM, playout and distribution services.
Astra positioning: AstraFactory can operate as part of the Trendest Studio / Trendest TV environment or be productised independently as a SaaS/API/SDK or enterprise integration depending on the customer workflow. Product scope and commercial readiness can vary by deployment.
What AstraFactory is designed to handle
Technical architecture
Standalone or integrated
Deployment can range from a focused cloud service integrated with an existing customer stack to a deeply connected module inside the AYA platforms. API boundaries, event identifiers and common metadata are intended to keep the product composable.
Enterprise operating discipline
Relevant production deployments require role-based access, secrets management, audit history, environment isolation, backup/restore strategy, health monitoring, change control and data-retention policies appropriate to the customer and jurisdiction.
Media-industry use cases
- Broadcasters migrating archives into OTT-ready packages
- FAST channel operators preparing large catalogues
- Studios localising titles for multiple territories
- OTT services producing multi-device ABR sets
- Content owners creating repeatable delivery packages for external platforms
