V. Unnikrishnan is a visionary media entrepreneur and senior journalist with roughly three decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry.
His career began with Malayala Manorama and extended through leadership and editorial roles across television news and media organisations including Jaihind TV, Indiavision TV, News18 and other major platforms. His expertise spans television channel management, political reporting, web content, storytelling, news writing and editorial leadership.
He holds an MA in English from Kerala University and a PGDCJ from the Kerala Media Academy. As Founder & CEO of TRENDEST MEDIA PRIVATE LIMITED and TRENDEST MEDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, he leads businesses spanning OTT, movie rights, digital publishing, animation, short films, live streaming, YouTube CMS and Content ID, music distribution, rights management and platform monetisation.
His long-standing involvement with the journalistic community, including past service as Secretary of the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club, reflects his commitment to both media leadership and industry development.
